SAVE THE HERRING AND REACH THE SHORE

Download the original 2010 Thin Ice here

Thin Ice is a game created for an AtariAge forum 30-line programming contest, written back in 2010 by Keith Bergman in TI Extended BASIC.

BETTER, THINNER, ICIER, WITH 100% FEWER SPRITES

Thin Ice Redux puts the same penguin in the same predicament, but adds more obstacles and gets down to the bare essentials of TI BASIC.  Cross the frozen divide, gathering crates of precious herring as the ice cracks with every step you take!

I THOUGHT PENGUINS COULD SWIM, BUT - EH, NEVER MIND

Your bonus increases the longer you stay on the ice.  But a solid patch can crack and turn into an impassible zone before you know it.  Will Polar Penguin risk it all to get just one more crate of herring and a high score?

Thin Ice Redux is in alpha testing mode. It is scheduled for a physical release on cassette as part of BASIC Pak 1, coming later this year.
